if you connect to internet via other methods than Networkmanager, eg command wvdial, telepathy does not detect the connection and so do not connect your accounts

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. connect to internet using wvdial on a usb 3G modem
2.
3.
Actual Results:
all other internet-using software such as KMail, Choqok, Quassel, Firefox etc detects the connection. Telepathy does not

Expected Results:
Telepathy detects you are connected and connects your IM accounts

Though Networkmanager does work with most connections there are many it does not recognise. I have 2-3 USB modems it does not work with myself. wvdial is in most cases the saviour.

Why all other software can then detect I am connected but Telepathy can not? Bad design choice

You have already opened this bug and had the reasoning explained as well as a workaround for your setup.

Commenting again will not change anything.

My apologies, my internet connection was so bad I was not sure it had actually been committed
