Please always look at the suggested duplicates before submitting a report, this is nothing new. Workaround: upgrade to Amarok 2.7 and use the phonon-backend-vlc instead. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 289739 *** I attempted to so, sorry about that, I was in a hurry to finish a few things so I must not have caught it.
