At the moment if you want to invite more than one contact to a chat, you need to add them one by one. The contact selection dialog should allow multiple selection

Confirming, treating this as minor until invite to chat works properly.

Dear user, unfortunately Telepathy is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
