Description tamius.han 2013-03-15 01:52:35 UTC
When I refresh/add files to collection, collection ends up containing most of media files located on my computer and as opposed to containing only files that are actually in my collection folder. E.g. my collection folder is located at /media/device1/music/ while my collection will contain all media from this directory (correct), all media files from /media/partition1/NOT-music. It will also contain media files from /media/some-other-partition/.

Folders are scanned recursively.

I'm running Kubuntu 12.10, everything's completely up to date. (I'm also receiving updates from kubuntu backports ppa).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to amarok > settings > configure Amarok > Local Collection
2. Chose a folder which contains media files, put a tick in 'scan folders recursively',
3. Click Full Scan/Apply, OK
4. Wait for scan to finish
Actual Results:
Local collection ends up containing all media files I have on my computer

Expected Results:
Local collection should end up containing only media files in my collection folder.

I'm receiving updates from kubuntu backports ppa (system is up to date).

Please check the settings in your $HOME/.kde/share/config/amarokrc file.

Very probably a duplicate of 316216. Tamius, please paste entire [Collection Folders] section of the amarokrc to the bug 316216 (not here). Thanks.
