Description m.wege 2013-03-13 12:51:12 UTC
I have a dual monitor setup. I have configured it so that the external monitor is set to be above my laptop screen. When I copy a link from the browser which is placed on the internal laptop screen, the clipper actions menu always pops up on the external screen above. This is quite annoying because I have to "chase" it with the mouse to make my selection. I first thought the problem is related to the fact that Klipper is kind of hard corded so that the menu appears on the external screen. Now I have figured out that it seems like the problem is that the klipper menu always appears above the mouse position which means that if I copy a link from the browser url box, it will always appear on the above external screen. It works fine, when I copy a link which is on the lower part of the screen.
So it would be very nice, if the behaviour could be changed in a way that the actions menu always appears on the screen where the mouse is.

Reproducible: Always

I have similar problem but with amarok, keyboard layout indicator, volume control, bluetooth, right click on icon in tray opens menu only on primary screen. Klipper works fine.

Information about devices icon can be used to play a game "click me if you can". If more than one device is connected, left click shows list on correct screen (under cursor), but if you try to select something list disappears and shows on other screen.

That works fine before KDE 4.10

My system:
openSUSE 12.3, KDE 4.10.1
Dual screen configuration (acer aspire 7540 - primary screen, HDMI - secondary on left)
