Description Christopher Yeleighton 2013-03-09 08:31:27 UTC
Kompare does not process user input until the entire source text has been retrieved. The UI updates but other messages are blocked. The window manager interprets it as a hang.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Tell Kompare to compare two large files lying on a remote HTTP server.
  2. Tell the window manager to close Kompare.

Actual Results:
  1. A download notification in the system tray.
  2. The window manager recognises that Kompare has stopped responding and offers the operator to close it by force.

Expected Results:
  2. Let Kompare abandon the current input tasks and quit.
