- What I was doing when the application crashed:
everytime i press the right button from my touchpad the bug report jumps up and what i was doing is lost. this started happening after i installed the gcc4.7 compiler and utils.

Thanks for the bug report! Looks like an Oxygen issue. Mabe a Valgrind log can help to find out if something goes wrong already before the crash. If you want to help us by producing one, run

valgrind dolphin 2> log.txt

(note that Dolphin will be a lot slower than usual), then reproduce the crash, and attach the log file here. Thanks.

Not sure this one is a leak issue.
I'd suspect some libraries incompatibilities.
Obviously can't reproduce here.
Question: 
do you use native packages or compiled sources ? For dolphin, for oxygen ? Did you recompile one (and not the other) after switching compiler ? 
Does that happen with other programs ?

For the record,  looking at the incriminated source code:

"            painter->setCompositionMode( QPainter::CompositionMode_Source );"

it looks like the QPainter passed to the drawing primitive is invalid.
This should never happen and is dealt with by Qt (not us).
