Can you take a picture or make a screenshot showing this? Is it possible to take a screen shot of a locked screen? Actually what this is that the the Elarun wallpaper pops up with the login dialog box poping up ontop. One per screen. (In reply to comment #2) > Actually what this is that the the Elarun wallpaper pops up with the login > dialog box poping up ontop. One per screen. The wallpaper with the login dialog over it is the same as what you get with the "Simple locker", correct? If so, that's just how it works now - the screensaver goes on top of the new simple locker and the locker pops back on top when you try to unlock. I'm not sure that we can do a lot to make it better. We should make it easier to dismiss the unlock dialog and go back to the screensaver - this happens if you press escape, right? Correct about the simple locker part and the escape key. However... before 4.10 ... when I wanted to unlock my screen the dialog box would pop up infront of the screen saver and not give a whole different screen. It is psychologically more pleasing that way (I think). See also Bug 318342: Some screensavers that distort the screen don't take a screenshot of the screen anymore, instead the locker screen is captured! The screen locker architecture changed with Plasma 5. The classic screen savers are no longer supported. The 4.x series won't see any further feature development, so this bug report won't be implemented as it doesn't apply to our current version any more. I want to thank you for your bug report and for helping improving the quality of our software and I'm sorry that we were not able to provide a fix before we retired the affected component. |
