Package: kdm
Version: KDE 2.2.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.2
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: suse 7.1 kernel 2.4.0 - 4 GB nvidia driver 1.0-1251

After booting the system it is not possible to type in the password. You can give in the user-id only by clicking the icon. After restarting the x-server kdm works correct.

this looks like the typical "missing vt7 at the end of the sever specification
line in Xservers" problem - see bugs #29067 #28446 #27965 #29051 etc.

Best Regards
