- What I was doing when the application crashed:  The computer had been sitting idle for about 24 hours. Chromium was on two desktops with a total of 2 windows and 10 tabs. Kate, libreOffice calc, and smb network folder all had one instance of themselves running.  VirtualBox had one OS running as well.  Was running just fine.

Because you need to activate additional repositories to get updates, Opensuse doesn't bring in new packages in a released version, only on backport repositories. And at the time 12.2 was released we were about to relase 2.6 which was out in August and 2.7 we released in January.
