The embeded konsole in the 'Output Tools Views' does not indicate when it has the focus.

The cursor should either start blinking when it recievs focus or should go away when it loses focus.

It is currently a solid box whether it has focus or not.

Fixed in Gideon (this may just be an arifact of my particular setup, but it works for me).
