(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 2.2.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.1.93
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-96)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.2-2
OS/Compiler notes:

In KDevelop I created an application by selecting 'New...' from the Project menu. I just created a completely default app (It was in fact the Kscribble example from the help) except to try version control I selected CVS version control at that page in the wizard.

When I clicked 'Create' KDevelop seemed to hang for a long time and system usage went way up. On poking around from another Konsole window I discovered that cvs was checking my entire home directory into the repository!

Obviously that's not The Right Thing; it should be just checking in the directory it just got done populating with generated project files.
