Description lmaoatlubking 2013-02-12 05:37:40 UTC
i've installed

	amarok -v
		Qt: 4.8.4
KDE Development Platform: 4.10.00 "release 546"
		Amarok: 2.7-git

from opensuse repos

rpm -qa | grep -i amarok
		amarok-2.7.40git.1360250708-199.1.x86_64

i've a synology upnp/dlna server on my lan.

it's seen & accessible by a number of clients, including XBMC on this desktop.

following

	http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=115&t=96098

i've installed

	kio-upnp-ms

and verified that i can see th upnp:// slave in Dolphin.

when i launch Amarok, in "Local Music" i *DO* see the "synology" server listed, so cagibid + kio slave scanned/found it.

but, there are *NO* (zero) tracks listed. there's several thousand tracks available and accessible by those other clients, so they're properly "published".

just not seen, yet, in Amarok

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
UPNP server listed in Amarok "Local Music", with "0 tracks"

Expected Results:
UPNP server listed in Amarok "Local Music", with all available tracks

The problem is the kio-slave, but sadly it appears to be unmaintained. Let's hope somebody has a look at it and ports it to Qt5 /frameworks
