New crash information added by DrKonqi
apper (0.7.2) on KDE Platform 4.9.5 using Qt 4.8.4
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
just run an apper update ... apper completely freezes whilst waiting for yum to complete (this is NOT unusual & is the real issue & only unfreezes after logout or reboot)
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
switched to a root terminal .... checked messages, yum ... logs ok, etc.
ran:
yum check
yum check-update
both ran fine & quickly. switched back to apper window, closed it & this crash happened.
IMHO, this looks like some kind of lock wait issue.

Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! Sorry, unable to retest since the machine in question died some years ago. Not installed apper since. Thanks for the update! |
