The problem is with gstreamer, not with Amarok. As a workaround you can use the phonon-backend-vlc instead. I also strongly suggest you upgrade your Amarok version to 2.7 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 313688 *** Created attachment 81056 [details]

amarok (2.7.1) on KDE Platform 4.10.5 using Qt 4.8.3
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was listening to some Jamendo track, when I tried to jump to a forward position in the song (by clicking on the timeline), Amarok crashed.
