I have a short panel on the right. In order to seperate the menu button, starter etc. from each other I placed spacer items between them. Spacers are set to flexible size.
I set the panel to have a minimum and a maximum size (look at the screenshot).

The problem:
After starting plasma the panel is set to the maximum size not the mimimum. When I unlock the widgets the panel magically shrinks. Locking it again will set the panel to its (IMHO) correct minimum size.

Plasma 4 has been unsupported for several years. If you can reproduce this in Plasma 5, please file a new bug. Thanks!
