I just discovered this is a duplicate of bug 310057 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=310057). Please close it. What do you mean by "scrubbing"? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 310057 *** "Scrubbing" means "seeking", i.e. moving the navigation slider back and forth to seek to different times. Seeking is not done by Nepomuk, but with a playcount of 0 the Phonon backend surely can't seek. Are you sure? When I preview a music file from Dolphin, it displays an incorrect length (usually 0:02 or 0:03), but I'm able to seek. I guess Dolphin preview uses the phonon backend too. That entirely depends on the phonon backend you use, the gstreamer one can't seek with a track length of 0:00 I'm using gstreamer. I don't get why seeking is possible from preview then. (In reply to comment #7) > I'm using gstreamer. I don't get why seeking is possible from preview then. It's not gstreamer, but the Phonon-backend-gstreamer. How about asking them? I don't think this belongs in the Amarok bug tracker, as it is backend dependent. Sure, I'll report wherever is appropriate. Thanks for helping. |
