Description Søren Holm 2013-01-30 08:10:07 UTC
I have my "inbox" as a favorite folder.
If the current folder is my inbox and new emails arrive then sometimes only "Inbox" in my favorite list is updated with the number of unread eamils. Activating a different folder than inbox and then activating inbox again makes the new emails appear

I'm using imap with offline store enabled.

Steps to reproduce
1. Add your inbox to the favorite list
2. CLick on the newly added entry in the favorite list
3. Wait for new email

Actual behavior
Sometimes new mail is only reflected in the favorites list - not in the actual list of emails.

Desired behavior
New emails should always be shown the the list of emails.

I confirm it.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
