When using svn+ssh:// or svn+https:// to browse a Subversion repository in Dolphin many notifications pop-up while browsing with the error:

"KDE Workspace"
Unable to connect to a repository at URL '[URL TO REPOSITORY FOLDER]'
Cancelled by user."

These notifications are triggered by opening/clicking on a new folder or when scrolling down a longer list of folders.

This behaviour happens in all three views (Icon, Compact and Details) when the "Preview" button is selected in the icon bar.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect to a subversion repository by typing into the address bar in dolphin using either the svn+ssh or svn+https protocols
2. Make sure "Preview" is selected in the Dolphin icon bar
3. Open a folder or scroll down for notifications to start appearing
Actual Results:  
Many notifications appear but browsing still works correctly

Expected Results:  
No notifications as I browse or "Preview" to be automatically disabled or greyed out while connecting with these protocols

Tried this from several machines of different specifications. All running Kubuntu 12.10.

Thanks for the report. Looks like it's probably a problem with the kioslave that is used for accessing SVN repositories.

I can confirm this problem still exists in Kubuntu 13.04 and 13.10

The problem in worsened by having  "Preview" on in Dolphin

I've also noticed that each of the notification errors is showing that the kioslave is working its way up through the URL causing an error at each parent level e.g. when browsing https://url/svn/REPOS/folder errors are produced, in order, for "https://url/svn" then "https://url/svn/REPOS"

I'm afraid the SVN KIOSlave was never ported to Frameworks 5, and it's not likely that it ever will be, given the continuously decreasing popularity of SVN. Therefore, I have to close this bug report.
