In the maps (view or geolocation plugin) the OpenStreetMap maps are not loading new tiles anymore; there seems to be some kind of old cached version and I'm unable to go into detailed maps where they weren't loaded before.

Hi Johannes,

digikam uses Marble as the backend for OpenStreetMap, therefore I suggest you first try whether you can see updated tiles in the Marble application. If they are not updated there, either, you can try clearing the cache: Settings->Configure Marble->Cache&Proxy->Cache->Clear

Thanks for the hint, Michael. Unfortunately, it does not help. Marble (and tile refreshing) is working as expected. I cleared the cache anyway, without any change in digikam behaviour.

Just got digikam 3.0.0-rc – it's working again after the update! Marking this as fixed.
