Still not fixed in final release. Altough if i make panel bigger (10px or so i think) the popups display just fine. it happens on the bottom panel only also, no problems if the panel is on top.

Same problem here, it fixes if there's a window focused. Using KDE 4.10 from ArchLinux repositories.

Fedora 17 64-bit, KDE 4.10.1 same problem occurs for me. It started when I upgraded to KDE 4.10.1 on March 21. My panel is along the bottom of the screen, and auto-hides. I have four items always showing in the system tray, left to right: volume control, bluetooth, battery monitor, and network management. Volume control and bluetooth exhibit the bad behavior when there is no window open on the desktop. Battery monitor and network management are okay except as noted below.

The cursor location is not being interpreted correctly. The volume control percentage shows up when my cursor hovers over the volume control icon and over the bluetooth icon. The bluetooth status shows up when my cursor is over the battery monitor. The battery monitor percentage shows up only when the cursor is touching the right side of the battery icon. The network manager status shows up correctly.

Sometimes, the bluetooth icon is to the left of the volume control icon. Those times, the bluetooth status shows when the cursor is over the bluetooth and over the volume control; volume control shows when over the battery. The rest is the same as in the previous paragraph.
