Description Jan Hambrecht 2013-01-15 16:27:50 UTC
I was sorting a set of images, multi-selected a few of them and moved them into a different folder. The thumbnail bar was correctly updated but the selection of the moved images is still being painted in the background even after selecting new images.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Multi-select images.
2. Drag them into a different folder in Dolphin.
3.
Actual Results:
Thumbnail bar is updated, painted selection in main view is still being painted.

Expected Results:
Painted selection in main view is also updated.

Happens also, when you select minimum 7 pictures in browse mode and switch to view mode (a max of 6 pictures is shown in parallel). Now deselect one of them via the overlayed button in the lower center. The seventh picture is shown in full size with the remaining other 5 selected pics in the background.

More complex selection arrangements can be created by toggling the +- Buttons in the thumbnail-preview area thereby overlaying pics of different aspect ratios in the center.

Thanks for reporting. While I cannot reproduce the issue mentioned by Jan (but I'm probably just using a different method to "multi-select" and a different area to drag from), the symptom shown in the screenshot and described by Holger is currently tracked in a different bug.
