i dont know if this is a bug or a feature.
when i pull the topmenu all the way down. there is still a gap between the bottom of the sceen and the top bar.

This is not a bug. The top bar is not supposed to cover the whole screen, but be a peak area. This is visually supported by not covering the whole "app space".

the gap is here to tell that theare you vocered is not "gone away" and to have an area that is still quite a big hit targer that will close the panel when clicked
