Simple drawing for the optional moving of the toolbars by user for his choice
You already can: - Hide the menubar (File/Edit/View/…) in Settings → uncheck Show Menubar - Hide the toolbar in Settings → uncheck Show Toolbar - Move the toolbar to another side of the window or have it as free floating window, right click the toolbar → Lock Toolbars and drag the toolbar around using the handle that appears on the left of the toolbar - Hide the status bar in Settings → Show page navigation bar. You can add a Page indicator to the toolbar (like I do because the status bar wastes space) by right clicking the toolbar, choosing Configure Toolbars, choosing Main Toolbar <okular_part> and on the left there is a "Page number" widget that you can add - Make the icons on the left (content, preview, bookmarks) smaller by right clicking and eg. unchecking Show Text and/or choosing a smaller icon size there (In reply to comment #2) > You already can: Thank you very much, i didn't know that. As i remeber it was not possible as i couln't do it. This tips saved lots of space. The only stable part is the left sidebar, which spares less space in small icons mode. Thank you very very much! Best regards, Zeki In KDE 4.10 you can also let plasma handle the menubar (Systemsettings / Appearance / Applications / Style / Fine/tuning / Menubar-style) or use plasma-widget-menubar. |
