Description Elias Probst 2013-01-08 15:18:56 UTC
When trashing/deleting a file from a search result list, the view isn't updated and the trashed/deleted file is still shown.

The trashed/deleted file should be immediately removed from the view once it has been trashed/deleted.
Comment 1 Elias Probst 2013-02-11 06:22:05 UTC
Still valid for 2.2.

The reported issue also applies to timeline:/ results.

Thanks for reporting this issue, but it is not a Dolphin bug IMHO. We *never* remove deleted items from the view ourselves. We only do it after KDirLister told us about the deletion, so I'm wondering if this could be fixed inside Nepomuk because it provides the search/timeline functionality.

Alright. I was hoping that Dolphin could not show the file, but since that is not the case I'll try to inform via KDirLister. Currently we do inform it, but not on all cases. Unfortunately, I'll only be able to fix this properly in 4.11.

I am seeing this on Kubuntu 13.04 with the kubuntu-backports ppa enabled (and upgraded to 4.11).

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

The Nepomuk project is no longer included in the KDE Software Compilation. With Plasma 5, we have replaced most of the underlying technology with Baloo and other components. Hopefully this will have addressed your concern.

We encourage you to try out Plasma 5 (+Baloo) and let us know if your problem persists.
