I closed the account settings dialog.

Crashes occurred each time I did this, whether I did nothing with my accounts, updated them or added a new account.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Check if you have ~/.cache/dconf directory, if not, create one by hand. This was a problem in some older ubuntus.

I can confirm that I have ~/.cache/dconf and I have 700 rights on it.

Check if it's not a symbolic link. Also try updating to newer versions of KTp if possible, 0.3 is long time unsupported :)

It was a real folder, not a symbolic link.

However, I did as you suggested and upgraded to a newer version. I used kubuntu backports and I'm now running 0.4 on which I cannot reproduce the bug.
