It could be possible to add an option to hide completely the "source" of transformation? ^^
When the design is complex, it's hard to understand what is happening  during the transformation process. Please, look this movie at 1:15 as quick reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bi4jJnYLkUA This is the Photoshop/Corel Painter/Artrage/Mangastudio's transformation tool behavior...
