Thanks for the bug report, but there is hardly any usable information in it. You would have to answer at least the following questions: 1. What is your KDE version? "Updating Kubuntu" doesn't tell me much ;-) 2. What was the last working version? 3. Where exactly are the drives removed? In the Places Panel? In the 'Places Icon Menu' in the location bar? Do you still experience this issue with Dolphin 17.12.3? If yes, please add the information requested in comment 1. No response -> closing.
