Description Alin M Elena 2013-01-02 17:24:03 UTC
Signing or maybe validating the emails fails.
I have a S/MIME certificate.. cacert.org. I have set my identity to use it for signing.
However when I send an email from kmail... new message... when clicking send I get asked if I want to sign I do it.. but when the message arrives.. kmail says invalid signature...

however... if I use the action send as email attachement from dolphin and put to From field my email address associated to the certificate I get the correct behaviour... kmail says the message has a valid signature.

Alin

Reproducible: Always

Can you give us the text you entered? Did you use SMIME Opaque?

Please also test with kmail 4.10.2 (or newer), if possible.
