The crashes appear unexpectedly. Sometimes for a long time not and then three or more times in a row. It happens when I'm editing text, but I don't use any special feature, just normal writing.

What Qt version do you use? I guess not Qt 4.8.4 which contains the required fixes to QtScript / JavaScriptCore - see bug 297661.

Where do I get newer versions of qt?
