Description zed reisende 2012-12-13 17:11:17 UTC
The Display settings are forgotten on each connection. There is a way to save the default settings but they dont work.

I typically swtich between work and home systems with an external monitor in each case. They have different settings. It would be nice to have more than one saved configuration to use or at least be able to use the default. There is no way to reset to the default or any other saved configuration.

I am using HDMI to connect to both of these monitors.

Its not that big of a deal and I can work around it but its a daily funky annoyance.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Display settings
2.
3.
Actual Results:
incorrect settings from last login.

Expected Results:
kde remembers the screen or allows me to select a saved screen configuration

Thanks for reporting your bug.

Since reporting Krandr has since been replaced by KScreen. It is available in the Plasma 4 series, and is default in Plasma 5 onwards.

I hope this solves your issue. If you still have a problem after upgrading please reopen a new bug under kscreen.

Thanks
