I seems that these patches have been written for some KDE SC 4.9 version prior KDE SC 4.9.4
ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/active/3.0/src/patches/

I am not able to apply them to KDE SC 4.9.4.

I would be glad if you could either
1. update these patchset to KDE SC 4.9.4
2. provide separate patches for  KDE SC 4.9.4
3. show some command to automatically generate these patches for the combination PA3 and KDE SC 4.9.4

The patches will not be updated to 4.9.4. The next release of PA will have fewer patches which will help with this issue in future.
