Publishing with summary is counter-intuitive on blogs.kde.org: authors have to copy the summary to the body, otherwise it won't appear in the full content.

The editor is a matter of upstream, and we try to avoid hacking on core parts as far as possible. I agree that it is indeed suboptimal, and one can easily find more than one discussion about this fact.
Anyway, marking this as upstream issue.
