Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2012-12-09 00:47:48 UTC
With the new screenlocker in 4.10 there is a new Global shortcut entry named "Kscreenlocker", it defaults to Meta+L. When I press this key, however, nothing happens. The screenlocker is still triggered by the old default Ctrl+Alt+L which is handled by "KDE Session Manager". If I change its shortcut to Meta+L, acknowledging the warning that this shortcut is already defined, the session locks.

Reproducible: Always

"Lock Session" is now really part of ksmserver, I think .

That [kscreenlocker] group is supposed to be removed, but the first commit (412015bb) doesn't seem to work (see bug 311050) . I have added a second commit (76a98ba4) to make sure that group will be removed . Could you try to recompile ksmserver including that commit ?
