I suspected that maybe the krunner kappmenu runner was to blame (since this was the last component that I had installed) and I was right: Disabling the runner kept kded from crashing. Could you debug it from the other side: Keep the runner enabled, but try disabling kded4 modules, to see which one causes the crash. There is also a kappmenu related kded module, so I would try this one first.
