Info applet not showing

As of v2.6.0-420-gcfc9a0a the Info applet is not showing anymore, all I can see is a blank space.

This was also confirmed by two git testers during GCI.

Cannot reproduce here. Perhaps depends on specific KDE version?
Comment 2 Myriam Schweingruber 2012-12-26 17:25:03 UTC
Apparently one has to restart to make the Info applet actually display something, works after a restart.
Comment 3 Mark Kretschmann 2013-05-21 06:30:13 UTC
This needs fixing. A restart shouldn't be needed.
Comment 4 Matěj Laitl 2013-06-27 18:51:13 UTC
Is anyone still able to reproduce this with clean or existing config?
Comment 5 Myriam Schweingruber 2013-06-27 21:08:07 UTC
When activating the info applet it first shows as an empty white space.
One has to go out of the current location (in my case in the Local Music) and hover over the Music Sources to see some content. As long as one stays in Local Music the space stays empty, regardless of any action one does in Local Music.
Reproducible with v2.7.0-431-g17468e6
Comment 6 Mikhail Ivchenko 2013-12-01 15:37:28 UTC
Reproducible in v2.8.0
Comment 7 Myriam Schweingruber 2013-12-01 19:15:46 UTC
Still fully reproducible with Amarok v2.8.0-106-g81ad305
Comment 8 Myriam Schweingruber 2014-08-12 21:26:30 UTC
Actually not a regression, it always behaved like that, just a tad annoying as one has to go out of the source to the general sources view to see the info applet filled.

When starting Amarok with the Info applet activated it is filled correctly.
