Description Pascal d'Hermilly 2012-11-23 09:07:51 UTC
Dolphin notifies you that you have copied a file even though you cancelled.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open dolphin and copy a file by e.g ctrl+c
2. insert it into the same dir by ctrl +v
3. Let the "File already exists" dialog hang for 3 seconds and press Esc or cancel.
Actual Results:
You are notified that copying finished.

Expected Results:
no notifications - as in this case there is no interest.

Thanks for the bug report. Just to be sure: This is not about any notification inside the Dolphin window, right?
Comment 2 Pascal d'Hermilly 2012-11-23 17:45:23 UTC
Right.
The "File already Exists" dialog belongs to Dolphin.
The notification appears in plasma.

:-)
Comment 3 Frank Reininghaus 2012-11-24 02:37:36 UTC
Thanks for the quick reply. In that case, it's a KIO issue.
