But it is using indicated color from colorscheme, just not with plasma-themes colors.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change BackgroundNormal from plasma-theme colors file

Actual Results:  
Button color doesn't change

Expected Results:  
Should change, as it behaves that way with regular colorscheme. Also ForegroundNormal is correctly changed.

Reassigning because Plasma NM does not read the plasma theme configuration, that is automatically handled by kdelibs.

Does it change after a Plasma restart? How do you change it, do you edit the file by hand?

Sebastian, thanks for the response, yes, i always restart plasma after i do some changes. 
Yes, i am changing it by hand, after i check the color in colors KCM.

Hm, off-hand, I don't see what should be different (didn't spend too much time guessing, either ;)). Could you point me at it?

The box is using the "Button background" color from colorscheme (currently, for me 236,235,235) and not what is in the colors file (which i currently set to 0,192,0)

I still think that I'm flying blind, or being dense here.

Could you tell me exactly what it should look like, and what is wrong?

(As in, "the checkmark is grey, but should be pink, the background right behind the checkmark is grey, but should be purple. The shadow is fine."

Why change the product of this bug back to "Network Management"? I cannot do anything to fix it from Plasma NM, it should be fixed in plasma libs. Besides, removing plasma-bugs@kde.org  from the assignee/CC fields you are basically removing the ones that could fix this bug from reading comments about it.

Apologies, I did not read the bug history correctly and I wanted to move it out of plasma component "general".

Can I suggest changing the bug title to specify where the bug actually lies.
