It's impossible to navigate using minipage and it looks ugly.
How it looks: http://storage4.static.itmages.ru/i/12/1116/h_1353016920_2472316_0bf2865e4f.png

Really high image: http://www.learnstuff.com/assets/TAKE-A-BREAK.gif

Reproducible: Always

I understand that it's hard to recognize anything on such an image. (But you could increase the size of the thumbnails by dragging the splitter.)

Do you have a suggestion on how to change this?
Comment 2 Aleh 2012-12-01 17:32:53 UTC
i meant not panel with thumbnails at the bottom, but something (don't know how to call) at the right side.
Comment 3 Benni Hill 2012-12-01 18:09:50 UTC
You can already put the thumbnail bar on the right side. (Settings -> Configure Gwenview -> Image View -> Thumbnail Bar, Orientation -> Vertical)

I am sorry for bad explanation.
With thumbnail bar everything is ok.
I am talking about "minipage" on the right.
I hope short video will explain more.

Ah, you mean the bird's eye view. Bug 301392 seems to be the same issue. I already sent a patch to reviewboard: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/107538/ Does it address your problems?
Comment 6 Aleh 2012-12-01 19:53:28 UTC
Yes, thanks.
