Currently Okular remembers the position in documents after closing and re-opening them. This is very useful!

Something I miss is the view mode. I often switch between normal documents and presentations, and each time I have to change the view mode to continuous or back.

The cursor wrap-around is cool, btw, especially on ThinkPads with a TrackPoint :)

Reproducible: Always

Yes please! I was about to open a new bug/wish with this issue when I saw this 5 year old bug.

For books and journal papers, one wants the view mode to be continuous.

For presentation (slides), one wants the view mode to be non-continuous.

okular should remember, for each document, the view mode that the user chose.

For documents never opened before, I suggest the following heuristic: set the view mode to continuous if the document is portrait and to non-continuous if it is landscape.
