Yes please! I was about to open a new bug/wish with this issue when I saw this 5 year old bug. For books and journal papers, one wants the view mode to be continuous. For presentation (slides), one wants the view mode to be non-continuous. okular should remember, for each document, the view mode that the user chose. For documents never opened before, I suggest the following heuristic: set the view mode to continuous if the document is portrait and to non-continuous if it is landscape. |
