you need to install kpart-webkit-dbg and try to provide a better backtrace I think I have it fixed. I deleted all the .config files in my .kde folder and rebooted. Once I got all of the application settings recreated (email settings, taskbar, etc) everything has been behaving itself today including Konqueror. Yesterday for example Konqueror would not load Facebook at all or very, very slowly. Today it is slick and fast. Same for Kmail and Akregator. /home/username/.kde/share/config What happened is I installed Mint Linux 13 KDE fresh on a new SSD and then moved my home folder back from my backups and simply overwrote the Mint KDE 13 home files (same account name) with the Mint KDE 12 files and buggered something up. It wasn't a permissions problem I think because I tried to reset those. Maybe some old .config file was not valid for a new KDE application. Thank you for the assistance. Thank you for the community's hard work. Still, a better backtrace for the crash would be useful. If you can reproduce it, add it again with debugging symbols installed. |
