more 2 links: http://alsa.opensrc.org/How_to_use_softvol_to_control_the_master_volume http://alien.slackbook.org/blog/adding-an-alsa-software-pre-amp-to-fix-low-sound-levels/ Honestly, I do not understand this wish. It has so many links i do not know where to start. In any case, can't you use http://alsa.opensrc.org/Softvol ? It says, you have to restart KMix once, but that should not be a problem. Are you uisng direct ALSA or Pulseaudio? (In reply to comment #2) > Honestly, I do not understand this wish. It has so many links 4 links is many ? > i do not know > where to start. In any case, can't you use http://alsa.opensrc.org/Softvol ? No , how I put kmix also control "software volume" ? > It says, you have to restart KMix once, but that should not be a problem. > Are you uisng direct ALSA or Pulseaudio? I use pulseaudio, pulseaudio use ALSA, and ALSA had implemented "sofvol" Just read my initial comment, why with gnome-control-center -> sound, I can get more 50% of volume than kmix ? . The 150% thing is a Pulseaudio thing. I don't think it has anything to do with ALSA Softvol - this is why the links confused me. In any case, there is already a wish about that, thus marking this as a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 297959 *** |
