After the upload to Flickr, the geodata is missing.
Photos are jpg with geodata from a Nikon GP-1 directly taken from the camera.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upload a photo with geodata to Flickr
2. Look at the uploaded photos on Flickr
Actual Results:  
Photo on Flickr without geodata

Expected Results:  
Photo on Flickr with geodata

I remember a similar topic in the past.

Please try last stable 2.9.0 to see if it's already fixed

I'll try that. But I have to set up a new VM with a Linux, that has packages for that version.
In Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is the version of the package 2.5.0.
