I had heavy cpu lode from building a big program (OpenCASCADE).
 

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Overlod the cpu and and don't have much memory left only a little.
2. go here ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/konversation/1.4/src/konversation-1.4.tar.xz
Actual Results:  
Konqueror crashed.

Expected Results:  
I think Konqueror should be able to to handle system resources running out by
at last only freeze for a moment. But preferably cut down a little resources or suspend only
parts that is not need in the particular moment.

This happened when again when I downloaded on sourceforge.net .
I followed the download link and waited 5 seconds for the download to start.
bay default konqueror opened the file in itself and crashed.

Can you try again to reproduce the issue with a more recent version of Ark and Konqueror?
