According to this forum thread [1] the WMS server at [2] does not work with Marble at the moment. Is it possible to extend our parser to handle the data?

I have issues with several WMS servers, too. Marble's WMS code seems to be outdated or problematic (I also get crashes, see e.g. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=400409).

I also would need good WMS support.

WMS support has been improvde considerably lately. Also I have added WMTS support.
