Description gregpitta19 2012-10-28 23:50:43 UTC
Plasma-Widget-menubar no longer works with LibreOffice.

Tested and reproducible with LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 and 3.6.2.2
On Kubuntu 12.04 with the backports ppa or a 12.10 clean install.

I had it working fine on Kubuntu 12.04 with KDE 4.8.4 and
plasma-widget-menubar_0.1.18-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb from quantal repositories

I'd try downgrading some packages such as libqt4-dbus, but it would break a lot of dependencies.

I'd be glad if I can help to solve the issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add Plasma widget menubar to the panel
2. Open any LibreOffice application (Writer, Calc, Impress, etc.)
3. The menus stay on LibreOffice not on the panel menu.
Actual Results:
The menus stay on LibreOffice not on the panel menu.

Expected Results:
The menus should be exported to the panel applet as happens with other applications

The bug remains with KDE 4.9.3 update released today via Kubuntu updates ppa on Quantal

This bug report is invalid, plasma-widget menubar should be reported on launchpad ;)
