It would be very useful to be able to Export photos to a PDF file. I believe that this could easily be done using the convert feature of ImageMagick (convert is already used in digikam).

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
Select photos and then select Export to PDF from the Export menu

This can be already done with Print Wizzard kipi-plugin... Do you try it ?

I tried using Print Wizard and it does print to a PDF. However, this
method rotates images (so that they are all portrait or all landscape),
to fill the pages, whereas "convert" does not rotate images. Images
that are portrait should be printed in portrait and images that are
landscape should be printed in landscape. I want the same behavior as
given by convert.

I am doing this to share images through e-mail by sending a pdf file of
the images in the proper viewing rotation.

Thank You,

Joe

LoveLinux,

This file still valid using last kipi-plugins 4.10.0 with standard export to PDF method (IM is not yet used instead) ?

Not reproducible with current implementation of PrintCreator from digiKam core
(next 5.7.0)
