i created an album by sending by mail photos to picasaweb during my holidays
then
for the first time i create an album with digikam by importing all my holiday photos to my pc with picasawebimport
then
a few days later i search something with dolphin
then
i see that for the photos of this album and only for this one
in dolphin data panel there is no comments displayed
then
in digikam for this album i updated the digikam db with data from photos
then
in digikam i synchronize the nepomuk db
then
with dolphin in the data panel i see no comments !

my photos has comments
this comments are well displayed in digikam in various windows (properties, metadata (exif,iptc,xmp), legend/label

another experiment : i score a photo in digikam then no score displayed in dolphin data panel

"store metadata from digikam to nepomuk" is well activated.

The Digikam nepomuk integration which we had so far was outdated, buggy and broken. It needs to be rewritten.

Yes, Nepomuk service was fixed, but I still find it unstable somehow. You can compile de current git with -DENABLE_NEPOMUKSUPPORT as cmake argument and give some feedback

Nepomuk was replaced by baloo.

pb still there
i don't see any score or legend with dolphin

how do you synchronize baloo db with digikam db ?

And today I merged some changes which allow digiKam to read and write to baloo.

digiKam 4.3.0 will support Baloo, not digiKam 4.2.0

Nepomuk is obsolete now.
