Please excuse that I don't know the correct category for this. When I change the symbol of an item the icon chooser dialog opens with the category which normally fits best, e.g. applications. I then type some search word, e.g. start-here (this combination e.g. arises when I want to change the startmenu icon, but there are others of course). Now "start-here" is not in applications so I have to switch the category for the symbols, in this case to "places". But instead that the last typed search term stays in the search field it is cleared so I have to type again. It would be earsier and more comfortable (well, at least for me) if the search box would keep the last typed text on category change. It is not very likely that I suddenly search for another term, I'm still looking for the same thing.

Reproducible: Always

Thanks for putting it in the right category.
