Product: [Applications] digikam Reporter: julien.t43+kde
Component: Usability-KeyboardAssignee: Digikam Developers <digikam-bugs-null>
Status: RESOLVED WORKSFORME
Severity: normal CC: aegoreev, caulier.gilles, tom.malfrere
Priority: NOR
Version: 3.5.0
Target Milestone: ---
Platform: Ubuntu
OS: Linux
Latest Commit: Version Fixed In: 8.1.0

Description julien.t43+kde 2012-10-11 18:59:38 UTC
When using keyboard navigation in the main screen of digikam, with 'tab', you can switch the focus to the Albums list part and move from albums to another with arrows but after, it seems there is no way to validate/enter album and to display its contents
(Enter=F3=display full image of initial album, space=next file in current folder, same if combined with shift/alt/ctrl)

Probably a KDE issue but don't find a solution for now

Release 2.8.0 (kde 4.8.5, lubuntu 12.04 ppa).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open digikam
2. hit tab multiple times to have focus on another album than current
3. try to display the new album
Actual Results:
can't switch display to new album. mouse only action

Expected Results:
there should be a key to switch album
Comment 1 Tom Malfrere 2012-12-30 09:56:48 UTC
I have the same problem with 2.9.0

this makes the keyboard navigation unusable...
Comment 2 caulier.gilles 2013-11-26 17:26:50 UTC
It still valid using digiKam 3.5.0 ?

3. move w arrows to another album
3. try to display the new album
